I only eat beefburgers that are home made or by the local butcher . I wouldn't even feed the dog with pressed crap that contains horse meat guts and lungs that a certain factory near by me put in there burgers . yuck

I remember doing a run to the estate burger van once on a Saturday morning, 12 bacon baps the only thing i eat from there. The others regularly had all sorts for lunch, got given them in a old burger box to carry them back Box just said BEEF BURGERS then listed the ingredients starting with Beef 75% (Beef Hearts 60%) Rusk, Onion, and so on.

I still cook meat even though i went veggie years ago, I have a old meat mincer on a bench and i make all sorts of burgers and i found a place just down the road that sells the sausage skin on a roll, So i made an adapter on the end of the mincer to make small batches, Last month i made pork and black pudding sausages and streaky bacon with dried tomato it all went in a day.

My brothrr was always fascinated by my grandparents lifestyle, my gran minced her own meat and so does my brother.
Fraserburgh for only a small town has three excellent butchers, we mainly use McIntosh and can't go wrong.
They don't do them anymore but the Handmade Burgers, Jimmy Burger wss a really decent burger. Every now and then I'll do a works burger from my childhood in Oz; egg, beetroot, tomato, fried onion, lettuce, bacon and a beef pattie.

An interesting fact on the 100% claimed to be the best beef McDonalds burgers...
The wee Grandson loves the McDonalds drive through happy meal experience, a burger, chips, fruit package, drink and freebie.
The first thing he does is take the burger out and throw it away, so waste not want not we gave it to the cat, a normal meat loving moggy, one sniff and it was scratching the kitchen floor trying to bury it.
I then threw it on the garage roof for the flying rats, a week or so later from the bedroom window I noticed it was still there and had to climb up to get it and bin it, it looked exactly the same as when bought.
The meat may be 100% beef but I suspect the preservatives content is something scary

My normally greedy cat did exactly the same when a mate tried to feed him some KFC
