Some pointers on SS welds
Have been having very poor results, 1.5 mm sheet dull looking weld the rear looks like a burnt worm.
Tried 45A 1.5 pre flow varied between 40\50A the front of the weld is greyish gas flow 8Lpm tried varying it, cleaned with scotch pad & cleaner, I know I am not a good welder but this is beyond poor using Elga 316L rod
There are a few short runs that clean up OK so I think it is technique speed angle tungsten stays sharp even the good bits look s**t at rear
