I'm getting some issues with stainless wire in my mig...
its a supermig 180.
I have acquired some 0.6mm stainless wire and have been fabricating a exhaust system with it. it welds fine for a while then i get jams and it bird nests. I tend to try and set the roller tension so it slips if it jams rather than birds nesting, however if I set it that low I get inconsistent feed speeds because the roller slips.
however when I put 0.6 mild back in it welds absolutely fine, no issues at all...
has anyone got any ideas or is the wire I have just really crappy.....
