Stainless hoses

Hi All,

This might be a stupid question - where can I buy stainless hoses?

I need some that are:

Hose, PTFE, Steel Braided, Assembled, 1/4 in., JIC-04 37 Degree Flare Fittings

I'm not sure if the JIC-04 are the same as brake line couplings.

Its a ARB air compressor in the back of the landy, going to an air tank.

Pieter good ridge or Parker then, possibly swagelok too…you might want to be sitting down for all of them though.

Any particular reason for stainless over a hydraulic hose?

If anything like our local branch (about 2 miles from home) they would be the last place I would try, total waste of space! I wanted some “O” rings for my Epco crane, they couldn’t help, more like couldn’t be bothered!! after speaking to a good friend , a retired hydraulics engineer , he suggested Allseals in Norwich 50 odd miles away who sorted me out straight away.

just had some stainless fuel lines made for a boat , 1/4 inch and 2ft long fuel grade hose s1 from memory , they were about 60 quid each.

Mine is good.
But one near Taunton was not.
Luck of the draw.

Another vote for all seals. I use them a lot.

For your application why not plastic pipe and push fits. Keeps millions of trucks moving.

Nail on the head ,, and if its looks they do braided covers for such things as a kit.
