Back In Uk I used to do my own exhausts, I bought 3” mandrel bends by the box and tig welded them in my workshop…stainless 304 pipe and decent back boxes, the final result sounded well, added bhp and weighed a 3rd of factory system !

been looking to make my own for a while now , everything seems aimed at boy racers that want noise , are there any s.s silencer's that are normal noise levels , im a 50 year old i cant be roaring up the high st like a teenager , i just want a decent exh that doesnt rust away

yeah they say so eh , i had one before and it was terrible for droan on the motorway , wont get a penny off me again

I've just fitted one on mine and it's fine. But it is a turbo diesel which are fairly quiet anyway.

this is my work in progress, and yes it takes far too long to do this, but I started on it a couple of years ago, thought it would only take a couple of weekends to do
