It's a stainless pressure vessel from a jam factory.
The large nut at the bottom -
It has a broken stainless valve on there, so I took off the valve bit and turned up a bit of steel and used that (with the original nut) and added a standard 3/4 ball valve.
But...
My friend was eyeing up the tank for beer. My mild steel flange is fine for my use (biofuel) but to use for food, the part would need replacing with stainless.
I could make up a flange from stainless, but I assume this may be a standard dairy coupling?
I will take measurements and photos and post them up later in the day... : )
