Don't think i'll be buying any bags of fifty, i only need a couple, gav i'll measure them when i get my box of bits back from the hydraulic place - thanks for the offer!
The guy behind the counter said the tapered seal with the recessed step inside was probably too specific to find an off the shelf equivalent but i left the bits with him so he can rummage. fingers crossed.

didn't spot the quantity, thought that was the individual price 



, they are designed for low/no pressure rotary sealing whereas hydraulic seals are for High pressure linear.
, as pressure increases it will deform, wear rapidly & then fail
.
