I’ve got some powder that you throw down the khazi, and it foams up, almost to the brim and eats away any muck. I didn’t expect much off it, but I was very surprised how clean and shiny the pan looked an hour or two later.

It’s called ‘Touch free fizzy foam’, bought off some Farcebook advertisement.

It's probably not something you'd want to dangle the jewels in.

Mrs RWD recently had our ensuite redone and went for 'contempory' sink , toilet and shower. Now, the shower is a big improvement but the sink and toilet not so much. Why? well, because they are square. Have you ever tried brushing a square toilet with a round brush?

I've Googled the subject to death now and I can't find a square bog brush anywhere. Do they even exist? Has anyone else come across this problem and found a solution?

Oh, and the sink is rubbish cos it's way too shallow and not particularly ergonomic. Water goes everywhere when it's used for washing. Pretty though

I used some brick acid. Worked a treat.

In a rented ghetto, with lots of scale, phosphoric with a reasonable concentration would make the pan "steam". Chewed through the timescale though.

I do occasionally use now but less hard water and we don't let things get so bad, so less industrial methods are required.

I use the shower in our campervan to clean the toilet. Far better than the supplied pump/flush

Its the limescale that forms that takes a skim off of the unmentionables. I have often wondered why the limescale builds up in the first place. Its not like the water never moves, or is heated.

The old white round bristle brushes were horrid unsanitary things but these silicone brushes linke in my link just clean the bog and come out clean.

Most humans. To the eye is but a cursory indicator, for some. Some things have to be toletated as in "to the eye" condition, some things get blitzed with disinfectant, bleach etc.
