Is it possible to build up the internal bearing surface to repair / re-machine the bore again ? I'm aware it's done with undersize cranks. It's for a hub which takes a taper roller bearing, its a sloppy fit, too much for bearing fit, not keen on shim stock or boring it oversize either. It's the front hub for a reasonably quick car so will need to be a permanent repair but they're pretty rare.
