I use a gravity gun a lot of the time and I bought a few clean empty tins from the paint shop for mixing and storing in and another thing to use is the polypropylene 1 litre measuring jugs from Wilko for about 50p each also handy for fibreglass resin as they flex to crack it off when it sets. My old spraygun is a Defynik also made in Italy and is not HVLP, it runs nicely on 40psi with a 1.4 nozzle.
