Spraying paint with lead content

I bought synthetic enamel paint online,the label says "contains lead" which came as a surprise! - If I'd have known about the lead content I'd not have bought it.

I have a 3M respirator with carbon filters,are there any other precautions I need to take when spraying the stuff?

It's 'HMG' paint from Paddocks Land Rover.Not old stock.

yup I recently got 25 gallons of the genuine stuff

The yellow pigment Lead Chromate is still legal and surprisingly common, so quite a lot of green and orange paints also contain Lead. I think that lead oxide (white) and lead tetroxide (red) pigments
are banned they're much more toxic.

White lead oxide is for use in historical buildings and artwork, red oxide is still legal.
