Spraying Jotamastic

I know it isn't advisable to spray it. I also know it can be done.

I've got a number of fairly complex components that need coating in Jotun epoxy mastic including some semi enclosed sections.
Doing it with a brush is going to be a trauma.

Spraying would be ideal, but the only spraygun I've got which I'm prepared to sacrifice to the cause would be an old suction gun with a 1.8 tip.
Am I urinating windward, or is this worth a try? I'm presuming it would need to be warm and quite a lot of thinners to even stand a chance.

you can get some reasonably priced cheapo guns with 2.2mm or more tips on ebay and the like

Not familiar with Jotamastic, but if it's a sort of gunge consistancy what about using a Schutz or underseal gun?

I used jotun epoxy mastic 80 winter grade with jouton thinners reducer. I used it for my vw polo mk2f and vw beetle resto. I done both brush and spray. I followed directions from data sheet.

Basically 4-2-1 with 10% thinner was good out the gun on a 1.8 but not a problem with 2.0 depends if you want texture. Brushing under chassis where I couldn't use gun I went 15% thinner so I could easily brush it on.
