seen a few videos where they blast the gun out with a can of solvent for the final clean , sounds like something that would be handy

Final clean is done by spraying neat thinners of the type you expect to use next / most often.

Do you have any places locally that supply automotive paint?
For example a local autoparts place mixes paint and can fill rattle cans. So I'm sure they could provide a rattle can with any thinner of my choosing if required.

You want it spraying through the gun, from paint bottle to nozzle, so not sure how a rattle can of it would work.
In my few paint spraying adventures I’ve always stripped and cleaned the gun, in thinners, then reassembled it all and blasted a few ounces of thinners through it.

Seems a bit pointless but if you want to do that, then a can of brake cleaner will be the one to go for.

I wipe the cup out with a thinners rag then blow some through the nozzle and put it away. Seems to work fine for me.

I strip my guns after each use and clean the parts seperatly after blowing through with thinners
