The ones I have are painted not anodised, guess what happened when I cleaned the oil out of them;-)
They didn't just paint the outside, it looks like they dipped them in paint.
The boxes don't say anything about avoiding paint or gunwash!
All the threads are so loose I doubt it's going to put up with much use before falling apart.

Mine is silver finish, I've been using it for a couple of years and it is a superb little gun. I got mine from hugspaint on ebay for a one off job and been using it ever since and will definitely get another, at £9 they are disposable.
