Spray gun problem

@fizzy was just thinking about this, can you straighten your "bike spanner" so it fits, grip the gun in a vice, fit the spanner to the fluid tip then use a stillson to grip the jaws of the spanner and slacken it.
You might need to use a spanner to hold the head of the spray gun head to stop twisting or breaking the gun.

As some else mentioned they screw the nozzles in whilst the coating is soft

I only know because I've had the same issue.

Can you link me the listing for the gun? I can't find one that has a 2.5mm nozzle - they only seem to go to 2mm when I've searched

It's not supposed to be.

On mine, its like metallic powder coating/paint, masquerading as "anodizing"
Also had the same problem trying to change euro air fittings for pcl on a cheapo airtool (can't remember what: it went in the bin)

Bigegg, If it helps, I have a similar gun I bought in the local motor factors and I was able to get the 2.5mm setup for, I think, £12.
It included the needle, fluid tip and air cap.

That is why I bought this one - EVERYONE I tried was out of stock of the 2.5mm. Amazon and Ebay along with loads of online suppliers!
It isn't a bad spray gun and comes with 3 nozzles.

Just noticed ANI do a 2.5mm setup for their budget gun.
At £24 + it's got to be worth a punt.
Other fluid tip and aircap setups are cheap too.

I don't need another gun but I might succumb.
If I can’t help myself, I will do a review.

Having said that the cheap 2.5 setup I have works remarkably well for spraying treacle.
Big plus on the version above is the aluminium pot, which could be heated with a silicone pad to help thin things down.

Aluminium pots for gravity guns seem stupid expensive.
Anyone know of a cheap source?
