spraying problem please help
i recently bought a compressor and sealey gravity fed spray gun for spraying gates and railings. the problems i am having is that the paint is not coming out as much as it should do. for me to get it to spray properly i have to keep running my finger over the outlet pin and then it would spray well for bout 10 - 15 secs and i constantly have to keep doing this. i thought the problem was the nozzle size so i upgraded it to 2.0mm but the problem keeps happening. i am using proper paint for spraying and even though it said thin 20% i even thinned it 35 to see if it helps but no luck. i know the gun is only a cheap sealey one but surely it should work better than this. i have stripped the gun down and cleaned it all down with thinners but still no luch. has anyone any ideas on why i have to keep running my finger over to get it to spray right
it is a 290 litre compressor and i am runing it on psi so there is definately enough pressure getting to it , i am using ROURKES VINYLAST paint which is for spraying and seeing i have over thinned it, it should come out no bother at all in theory. i know it is only a sealey spray gun and i know there is a lot dearer ones on the market but for my work of spraying rails this should be good enough

thing is its not obviouse that the paint has congeled bits till you strain it.
