Hi, newbie to spraying.
i have a big compressor 200l i would have thought at least 14cfm so that i know is a good start. but from there i am lost.
i have read on the main advice site about getting water and oil out of the system, thats fine. where i need advice is the guns and the paint.
is there a good website anyone could point me to for advice or, if anyone is kind enough to advise themselves i would be greatful.
what are the differences in hvlp guns, gravity feed, fed from underneath?
i have no idea about paints, other than brushing on some cellulose color coat to my landy! so advice on that would be great.
i have a few hundred pounds to spend on equipment so want to get it right. i mainly plan to spray mild steel furniture that i build. so a good finish is essential. i have built a dust proof spray booth with an extractor its a very diy job but it should help keep dust out and overspray in, and i also plan to use it for sand blasting. (obviousley not at the same time!)
thanks in advance.
