I have followed this with great interest and as for all previous comments it is a credit to you - I do not however understand the purpose of the "cabin" inside the spray area - what is that for? Also are you intending to spray 3rd party work now you have built this?

thanks much appreciated. The cabin inside is the spray booth, the rest of the area with the shelving is the workshop. I’ll be painting individual parts in the segregated booth.

as for third party work, yeah that’s the intention when I can turn out a professional result.

You clearly are not backwards going forwards and you may have already checked this - but there are some excellent UTube video's regarding the "silencing" of compressors in sensitive locations - not complicated but most certainly more detailed than I personally first thought.

Thank you kindly for the information it’s taken FAR longer to get to this stage than anticipated. I had no prior knowledge in building or carpentry, I’ve learnt along the way.

both compressors are housed in the garage, yes there is some noise but thankfully, and due to being in a detached property, nothing of concern at the moment. The real noise comes from the 90’s death metal
