spray booth lighting

Hi all, are standard florescent lights ok to use in a diy spray booth without possibility of ignition?

suposed to be flameproof but just use sealed liquid proof ones if your not happy using open fittings for personal use

I would suggest you use IP65 rated ones for your own safety and wire them using suitable waterproof glands to maintain their rating.

Or just use normal fittings with LED ones which have no high voltage kick to start them off.
