Well it's inside work we just assemble after drilling some small holes (4.5mm) for springs. Is it just while the nuts are run up from the other side , inside or outside ?
inside a quick mig tack if the bolts dont have a coating on them , outside stick would be my choice. But access and what you have to hand will govern the choice , has it to meet any specifics, or ask the customer what they would prefer or what they want.
This is going to sound basic , but are you bothering with anti spatter ,, lots of time it just gets left in the tin , but it can actually be worth the bother ..Well it's inside work we just assemble after drilling some small holes (4.5mm) for springs.
Currently we use mig. But it's tending to splatter. Which affects the moving arms.
It has to be signed off so I will not just be changing the process. But I just wondered if there was a better process I could suggest.
Nope. Adds extra cost. We get paid peanuts as it is. There are 65 plates with 4 holes and 4 x 20mm bolts in each. They all need 3 spots of weld. This is going to sound basic , but are you bothering with anti spatter ,, lots of time it just gets left in the tin , but it can actually be worth the bother ..
