It's too cold for me to go outside and play so quick question.
I've got an old, but GWO, spot welder - a British made TI Crypton probably from 1970 / 80's. It's only ever been used for thin car bodywork but wonder if it would be capable of tackling 2mm to 2mm steel (the bodywork of my UMM Transcat !) or should I expect plug welding will be needed ?
