Spot welders

My friendly hire shop stopped listing the Spot welders for hire, the problem was the power consumption, they needed an almost dedicated supply, 13 amp plug was a big big NO. First day over £100 + about £40 for extra days- and thats an old catalogue,

Just drill a hole in one side about 5mm in diameter and use mig.
