Have a 2 part primer. Both parts are coated
And draw into the timber to help the resin itself bond.
Great for repair work as it allows the wood to move naturally. Can buy it off the counter from brewers decorating now too.
It won't bond to duct tape. Useful for shuttering before filling.
Been looking into this and similar stuff, the timbabuild stuff seems good too and a bit cheaper. Epoxies and resins really are something else.
Also considering picking up big tub of epoxy putty for this kind of thing
If you do 45 degrees, you'll then have to square off the thin, splintery bit, and I think that will just get a bit weird looking?
If they're painted doors, you could just do it 90 degrees, and, if there's space, affix a couple of bits of rectangular bead, one on each door, to get an overlapping seal
But if your blade is only 2mm or so, you'll probably need that for the opening arc allowance anyway?
You're right, I think the rebate option is what I'm going to go for.
