Spline form for steering UJ

I want to cut a 5/8" 36 tooth spline onto a shaft to fit a UJ, anyone know what form is generally used on these, is it an involute or simple "V" form.

It's the same spline is I use on the stockcar,
I've been using these, although not available just now.

That's exactly what I want to create on an existing shaft, any idea of the spline form?

A thousand thanks, looks like a 90 deg angle. I can probably just to that with a slot drill. I'm assuming its not hardened
