Greetings,
I acquired a NU-MIG 135 recently. Quite a big old beast. The wire feed was really quite poor, so I've replaced all the relevant bits. It's got a nice new steel coil liner, a new swan neck liner, new tip, new shroud, and I've done my best with the reel mounting.
It's fine if the shroud is _really_ close to the work, but move it slightly away, and suddenly I'm getting mega splatter. I was wondering if this was normal, or whether there could be something else wrong? Could it just be that I'm using incorrect power/speed settings?
Cheers. Tom.
