    Thinking out loud here, and it’s possibly not feasible, safe, or cost effective, BUT..

    Are these types of thing available?

    My Kerry’s has a 2” 4tpi thread, which is like rocking horse manure. Looking at upgrading to the more common L00 taper.

    Finding a complete headstock would be ideal, but I don’t hold too much hope of unearthing one of those in the near future, so the next best thing would be to have some sort of adapter made, or purchased?

    Its easier to make a threaded adaptor for your lathe than a loo fitting. You can make a threaded back plate on your lathe.
