I have been looking for a decent pair of mig gloves as my old ones are gone

I came across a brand called spider hand. They are hand made gloves.

I ordered a pair of mig and tig gloves, quite pricey even though they are on offer at the moment.

I got some Ejendals Tegera 130A recently which are nice to wear.
The Spiderhand ones aren’t much more expensive. If you like them and they last then £15 to £18 is not too bad.

TBH, I'd put £25 at the cheap end of the scale for protecting your hands if for everyday use, if for occasional use, then they'd probably last two years or more.

Very true. my old Tegera gloves are just showing there age.

True, I like decent quality and a splash of value thrown in

Also finding the right sized glove that fits nice is jolly tricky too.

Not especially for welding, I find Tegera suit my hands well, I first discovered them in a hardware shop in Sweden in the mid 2000's! I regularly get through (2-3 pairs a year) of 'Mechanix' high dexterity gloves, they're very good at cushioning your hands from mechanical shock from power / air tools as well as thermal shock, particularly this time of year. And yes, you really need to spend some time in a physical shop to find the right ones.

I got tig and mig gloves from Spider.
They are really comfortable.

Best choice for me.

I've a pair of the spider gloves (also bought from Norsemen) and while I like them I usually wear Tegra tig gloves which maybe tells you my preference.

If I'm welding at high amps the spider gloves come out.

I particularly like the fact they do a short-cuff "Drivers Glove" version of their MIG gloves, really handy for tasks which involve a lot of manipulation or alignment interspersed with short or intermittent moments of welding.
