Nickel cases would make a very nice jet. I might have to pinch some off you in June
I can post you some down before then
In europe they want to know your kill ratio. When we told them it was 1:1 they couldn’t believe it.
Just been out this lunch time trying some new homeloads. Seeing which powder weight shoots best in my 243.Top left is Vihtavuori 140, the only Vihtavuori on trial. The rest apart from the bottom right are reloder 15, bottom right is the 270 shooting factory. If I go the Vihtavuori road it’ll be 38gr of powder under 70gr blitzking bullets. Using the reloder 15, I’ll use either 39 or 40 grains of powder under the same bullet. 42 grains of reloder 15 didn’t work very well for me buts that’s why we test. Test groups were three and four shots, just depends on how I see the groups forming to how many shots I test. Some say less than five shots isn’t a group, **Language**!

......................... Are you testing the powders because of "REACH" regulations?
Do you measure the speeds or just go by groups?
Are you testing the powders because of "REACH" regulations?
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the meaning or definition of " Reach Regulations " ?
I might have some H414
I could make you a few dummy rounds in 7.92 x 57 (8mm Mauser). How many would you want?I would quite like a few empty or inert cases for my .38 ww2 Webley and also a few 7.92mm to display with a Vickers MG lock set up for German ammo, probably ex Turkish army, the 7.92mm should have a groove around the base not a flange like the .303, sorry forgotten the correct term......
REACH is an EU regulation that covers chemicals. A lot of the chemicals in American made powder are now restricted so the powder can't be imported. ………………………..
