You think so? It might be a bit OTT for a hobbyists shed, but it's still small enough to fit nicely into a converted one car garage workshop, And you wouldn't get something like a Myford ML7 with a gearbox for that price. It also looks to have a fairly decent sting on it. I'd say it could spin work up to somewhere between 10 and 12". For a home engineer (And if everything works as they stayed) I'd say it's a fair amount of tool for the money.

It’s a very very old production machine of limited use. Very well made though
The turret lathe with screw cutting cost me £125 off eBay to put it in perspective

It’s a turret/ capstan lathe which are normally short for chucking work.
My Herbert 9b30 has a 30” swing but only 40” between chuck and turret
