Don't do that.
Your right art Ck 20 is what I have now and been using it all evening and it's really nice.I quite like my CK 20 flex head, but that speedway is tempting. Note to self, keep of the welding forum!
That looks interesting for a 300+ amp torch.
320 amps @ 100% on DCThat looks interesting for a 300+ amp torch.
I'm sure it will be. It come off a 250 amp unit so it's up for power I'm sure. Don't stress.Hope my cooler is up to the job, I think it is!
Have always wondered is the Ac always lower due to the heat traveling towards the torch on part of the waveform as opposed to DC and all the heat going towards the work. Or am i way off with my thinking.320 amps @ 100% on DC
270 amps @ 100% on AC.
Super impressive for a wp20.
Yes your getting a % of positive polarity which is heat in electrode. This puts a lot more stress on the torch and spare/wear parts.Have always wondered is the Ac always lower due to the heat traveling towards the torch on part of the waveform as opposed to DC and all the heat going towards the work. Or am i way off with my thinking.
Mine is the 320sa version it's not a flex head just angled i looked at them both side by side and picked this one don't ask me why lol got the wrong ends on mine so will have to try and sort that this week so i can use it & thanks to Richard for stopping me from making a stupid mistake and buggering the torch upPurple?????
Mine was blue!
They must do them in different colours.
Is that a flex neck.
That might be why.
