Did some coarse surgery with a 4" grinder and a thin cutting disc. Even though I had leather gloves, still took a lump off a finger. The gloves were not the heavy leather type which perhaps would have been better but I do find them difficult when pressing the "go" button.
Saw an advert selling leather gloves which were cut, slash and needle proof (!), and lined with a material called Spectra, like Kevlar on steroids.
All jokes aside, that's what a cutting disc is meant to do etc. but Kevlar does have good abrasion proof properties, probably better than leather.
Anybody with experience of such?
