Thats diversity. Well it is when you allow a % of those fitted sockets to be loaded / unloaded. If I remember right the sparky can spec the diversity % that he tests it under.

There is some allowance but the on site guide gives clear indications of what to allow for in domestic.

i cant see how a new board will help overloading.normally requires a new feed to circuit at least
