On a tangent, I've nicknamed that Zero Taz. It honestly just reminds me of him. Like a rabid whirlwind in use. Sounds like R2-D2 though.

With it being such a compact unit, the bed, & hotend, heat up quickly. Due to the hinge design on the doors, they've also been able to seal the door, so it doesn't have an air gap. I've not used it much, as yet, but I am gaining quite a fondness for that machine already.

Altered the settings in the slicer so that the Zero runs at a more sane speed. Copied the speeds from the Centauri profile. It turns out a pretty respectable print once it's not constantly trying to throw itself off the benchtop. Fast is nice, but definitely not priority.

Printed an Echo dot mount from online. Little bit of stringing.

Fitted a different filament sensor to the Zero. The original is mounted toward the front of the cabinet. A standard runout sensor.



Fitted a BTT SFS V2 filament sensor to the rear corner.



This one is a runout sensor, but also has movement detection, so can detect snagged spooling & such. Just need to edit the config file now, to add an extra section for it. Used a spare socket on the board.
