Source idea for BIG nails ?

I'm after some nails around 10mm dia with normal / large heads and at least 120mm long. These are for adapting as lashing points on my US Harbor Freight 8'x4' type folding flatbed trailer although I'm in the UK. It isn't made from thick metal hence wanting the length so they can go through the open "C" profile and be welded top and bottom.
I'm sure there must be something suitable out there but just don't know what they are called. The alternative is, say, long coach bolts and then cut the threaded section off and grind the head flat but I'd prefer to use nails as will be cheaper.

Any ideas ?

i have used 150x8mm nails but only ever aluminium.
were used in guttering

I thought that there would be something for railways sleepers seeing they are popular for landscaping but seems people screw them together.

I have nails that are at leas 3/8" thick and 12" long. They are used for landscape timbers. The local home supply has several sizes.

Try looking for heavy duty tent pegs? ,they may be close,.....as suggested ,I'd use 10mm bar etc

I believe the biggest you can easily get in the UK is 200mm (8") and they aren't 10mm thick.

are 200 x 8 but most of them are 6mm thick.

I don't know what the cost of sending nails across the Atlantic is.

I'd be inclined to make them from bar as others have said.

That's what I thought - M10 socket caps. Or you could bend some loops from 6mm hot rolled and weld them on both ends like I did for my lathe sled.

Had a little rethink and agree with suggestions of using 10mm rod.
Although I use ratchet straps I also use carters hitches hence wanting lashing points. At present I've got cast galv eye nuts around the perimeter.
