then (obweldingref) solvent weld two pieces back to back to make a "T" profile



then use superglue + PU glue. superglue for instant "clamping", PU for strength.


glue to cabinet sides





reassemble cabinet



fill with cheapo storage boxes...

thats why i doubled up the pvc angle - too flimsy as a single thickness.
im hoping the glue holds up, but if not i can reinforce with 12mm screws, or even staples


I made some a few years ago for eurocrates using 25x25x3 shs, and 25x25x3 angle for the runners - some of those crates hold 40 or 50kgs (one full of bike chain, one with cast iron weights).

i dont, Im afraid - i bought them from wilkinsons a couple of years ago for 50p each when they were selling them off.
(i only had a fiver, so bought 10 - went out to car for my bankcard, and by the time id gone back in, someone had filled two trolleys and cleared the shelf. )

i *think* theyre made by "wham", and the range sell/sold them - not on "the range" website tho.

Just had a look at those online - assuming the internal dividers are removable they might just fit the bill

the vertical dividers come out.
the horizontal ones need application of a dremel, but can be glued back in, if neccessary, with superglue. or PU glue, or possibly pvc solvent weld.
