Hi all
I have bought a MIG welder and a gas bottle and hoped to learn so i can restore my old mini. I have been working on a spare door so i can get used to the thickness of metal but no matter what the setting i use im blowing holes through everything. I have tried short bursts, long bursts, running in a line, everything! No matter what i do it blows holes.
I have also tried adding/taking away gas to cool the weld down but nothing works.
Can anyone offer advice? I have added pictures and i hope i dont get shouted at for 'advertising' as i am in real need of help.
What pressure should i set the regulator and has anyone worked with a Sealey MightyMIG 130xt before?
Thanks
David
