My guess 140w devide by 240 is .6amp so 1 amp fuse ?
I think he means the plug fuse.Fuse ratings are normally stamped on the end caps. Can you unsolder the old one and get some closeup pics?
Perhaps I can drop your megger back tomorrow evening, and you can track down the causeupdate on this the fuse said t3,25al250v
so assumed that was 3.25 amp any how the closest i had was a t5250v so soldered a couple cables on it and put in the board and it poped with a large flash i looked over the board again but nothing looks blown so its for the bin only a cheapy thing and not worth the time and effert
no rush its a 20 quid new unit that id expect got a problem with one of the wire transformers or a triac thats gone dead short the parts are cheap but if they cost a 10er and then i spend time to sort it then id rather buy a new onePerhaps I can drop your megger back tomorrow evening, and you can track down the cause![]()
