Some welding for a change! Citroen Xara Picasso.

MOT failure on rotten sills. Nearside had to have the inner plate repaired before the outer was replaced. Offside was a bit more fruity with the rear part of the sill rotted out too. I made a mistake on the nearside (no pictures) where I seam welded the bottom of the sill, rather than plug weld, which would have been easier. The job is still waiting for a dry day for me to finish the stitching, hopefully tomorrow and is just weldthrough primered in the meantime.

Yes it can be finished or left exposed, which may happen due to running out of time.

2004 and apparently it is a design fault due to rainwater draining into the sills and not being able to get out.

Bit like e34s, sunroof drains finish inside the Sills and are supposed to drain out the jacking points,
