Portable brazier
Hey up. Some nice handy work there. Listen, I got a bottle in the end. The guy who supplies me with BBQ gas just said, 'Oh cut up one of yours, no problem. I'll get you another!!!'
Valve off, filled with water. One question though as you offered various help. I would like to have a go at a replacement bumper for my off-roader, can you bend tube, bar, plate etc? I can really only do very lightweight stuff at home and don't even have Oxy never mind Plasma.

Been busy myself making a rear carrier for my winch. Hardly dare post a pic on these hallowed pages. I'm bound to have done it wrong! And I fitted out the cargo area with drawers. I have to say I get enough of this welding malarkey. I love it.

ive got oxy propane, a pipe bender and two big vices. if i cant bend it i mitre it. i'm in the process of making a bumper for my suzuki santana, i will put some pics in my album. give me a shout if you need owt ff. sorry i couldnt get down to you with that bottle, loads on at the minute

No problem on the bottle front. You were doing me a favour after all. Yes like to see your bumper. The plastic effort that mine has is neither protective nor useful. I would like to put tow points in it. I would also put an additional 50mm receiver point in there, maybe. I'd have to fit the lights in too. Nothing clever really. It can be one major section across and then the rest can be relatively cosmetic - say 3mm plate to finish it all off. I would cut away some of the plastic flare to blend the corner in.

Scotty, can you get more of that box? That is the basis of what I need to get started. Not measured up yet but either box or C section would make the main bumper. Keen to get cracking. Wasn't going to the country fair. It's expensive and not much good in my view. I go to the game fairs. The best is the Midland at Weston Park

I've actually got someone bending me a profile and making the end box plates for me, but I'm always after bits and pieces, so maybe I could cross your palm with silver for a few bits for later projects. Not bothering with the country fair, as I said, it's like a bit car boot sale. But i think it's about time we met up, being neighbours an' all.

gonna have a go at the clay comp. was gonna have a go at the one at chatsworth but i didnt fancy using the semi auto, thought i'd get laughed at. but i saw 1 or 2 using them.
btw the tigs still for sale ff. have a look in the f/sale sect. might interest you

nice ff. looks the dogs. never been to the midland, or any other big un. thats why i'm getting rid of the tig, no.1 i need a new toy 2 i am skint and 3 the escort semi auto is a bit short for my arms. its a good pigwin gun but about 3 inches too short. fits my wife nicely but shes got a big set of boobs so she ant really got a shoulder to sit the butt in.

Ohh, there are so many punchlines in there Scottydog. 3" too short but it still fits the Missus? - fnar fnar.
Anyway, the Midland is one of the best. You could really do two days. Gunmakers' row is pretty big. It's not a country fair like Chatsworth. It's a proper game fair. Lots of clay bustin' too. No 12vies for sale I'm afraid. I have 3 and a 20 bore which is my Lad's really. I don't have the 8 handguns anymore of course, but I have a dozen rifles instead. Well, you have to be ready don't you.
The 90 is pretty modified for its type. Most people don't do this much to them, but it's been fun and it goes well too. Plenty of ability plus it's quite, dry and comfortable. It's not just got bolt-on go faster (deeper?) bits. Looking for front diff lock next. Has front and rear winches, but I don't like getting out when it's raining.
