Love this to bits, it's based on a GN cyclecar and has a 5-litre J.A.P. V8 aero engine pre-1910, and no brakes...

Superb, I love these aero-engined motors. I used to ballact for a mate doing VMCC (mud) hill climbes/trials - there used to be a yellow frame, four wheels, a couple of seats and a fuel tank with a dirty great aero-engine in, 1904 if I remember correctly, piloted by a chap called Collins - awsome!

I also love the fact that are so immaculate and clean.
No I dont I love the fact that they look their age, that patina of dirt.
The JAP engined beast, fantastic is the body work sheet brass? and the driver deserves a medal. I doubt those tyres would have the grip to highside the car,but if it did......................................

There will be classes for them at tracks, hill climbs and sprints, I used to watch vintage Aston Martins being chucked around Curborough sprint near Lichfield, some of them would turn up on a trailer towed by a modern Aston!

Glad you like 'em chaps. Want to go and see these too, guess they will be at VSCC events but which ones/where... I fired an enquiry to them. Had a look at Silvertone's site but it's far too glitzy and corporate. Seen historic races there before, but not these beasts.

I can highly recommend a vintage meeting at Shelsley Walsh hillclimb. You can wander around the paddock taking in lots of this type of machinery.
Not too far from you either. Prescott is also good for the same.

The Morgan 3 wheelers are raced with sidecars at the Vintage motorbike races, they are normally at mallory park, Cadweel Park, Oulton park, think there is a round in March at Croft as well.
