Thats about a mile from me, came from the long gone Parkhead Forge.Drive past this a few times a week, and I thought it was big...
Some things just don't lend themselves to automation, perhaps this is one of them? Sometimes a computer just can't replicate the human eye and touch, and even "feel" for a job....very interesting video, but what are the parts they're making? Seems like they need at least a little bit of precision, seeing as they're there with the calipers measuring etc.
The bit at the end almost looked like a giant bearing cap, so I was half expecting the video to finish with some shot of some huge engine, but no.
Also shocking how labour intensive it looked... Prime candidate for automation, surely?
