I'm learning Inventor at the moment, as I've changed jobs and its what the new company use.
Previously, I've used Pro/E (for about 7 years to an advanced level). Inventor is OK, but Pro is so much more powerful, and the analysis and simulations add-ons are a lot more powerful than Inventors. The down side is it takes a long time to learn fully (a lot more than 7 years).
Pro/E, inventor, Solid Edge, Solid works etc can all be found on bit-torrent sites. They are easy enough to find, but download and install at your own risk!
