Given the size of said implement, I’m guessing the answer is not much, but as I have no idea at all, I thought it best to ask. Do “normal” 240v soldering irons draw much current?
Reason for asking is that I need to solder a connection on the cb aerial in my truck and as it’s permanently wired in, it has to be done in situ. I have a 2kw mains inverter under the bunk that powers my kettle and toaster, presumably that will suffice?
