I have checked, and yes the loft pipes are 10mm with 15mm at each end, not sure how important size is, but coolant flow has to to be pretty low.
For some reason the 10mm seems to have gone black on the outside?
Popped outside and cleaned the moss off from under the panel, also retaped the ends as the birds had taken a fancy to the shiny tape.
Pump always seem to run at 7 or 9 watts, hence my comment about low flow.
Bleed nipple, don't forget you have to pressurise the system.
You can see the 10mm pipe has tarnished.
Sensor 1 panel header
Sensor 2 bottom coil of the tank, ie the solar coil.
Sensor 3 top coil, ie boiler coil.
Also worth a read up on stratification, pretty all of it way above my head!
