Sure looks like a shed to me…….and the dictionary has a few meanings!

My understanding, at least by experience in the UK, a shed is an 8x4, 5x10 maybe a little larger, the ones on their website, most I would consider sheds, the one in vid' is not a shed, not a barn either.

Maybe I need to rethink my idea what a shed is.

8x4 you couldnt swing a cat in that….meters my boy not feet……if you want quality wood buildings you need to buy quality. Its a man thing, size is important, bigger is better. But if your garden is 40 x 30 feet, doubt the Mrs would be happy with it all been shed.

A barn and a shed can be one in the same according to the dictionary. Also not always wood. Many Barns are stone, and shed steel framed.
Shed….
a large, simple building used for a particular purpose:
the lambing shed
a cow shed
hay shed

Barn….
a large building on a farm in which animals or hay and grain are kept.

The other important factor is it was an Armish gang that did most of the build, the Armish have builds like this down to a fine art and speed.

Irontrap Garage are based in Pennsylvania, so would be a handy place to use Amish labour. Matt and the other guys at Irontrap were really helpful in getting me a set of H beam early Ford conrods at a good price last year.

Anyone who has put up any form of decent size shed knows how very impressive that was.

It took me and my brother 3 days to put up just the steelwork and purlins for a shed that was only a little bit bigger than that. Never mind roofing and sheeting!

To do what that crew did, every member of the crew have to be skilled, organized and experienced.

The contractors that " maccy d " used a while ago could turn a brown field site into a burger flipping joint in 3 days ! In the UK .
