having worked out the cost its not worth the effort. cost is roughly around £300 by the time all bits and bobs added.
also discussing with my good lass..how often will I use it?
most of my bikes are new so servicing is done by the dealer to keep the warranty.

Cost is only one thing.
Making it brings a feeling of satisfaction & accomplishment.
And it will be exactly as you want it.
Extra large wheels for rough surfaces ? yours can have them.
Extra high lift ? design it in.
