Snowblowers

The nextdoor neighbour is wanting to buy a Snowblower, He has around £1500 to spend. it will be used to clear the road leading up to the main road, about 150yds so needs to be of a reasonable size powder walk behind jobby

Has anyone got one, used one? Suggestions please.

No we haven't. He wants to buy one for when we do, as the price always goes up, when it snows alot

Does it have to be a blower?

Ploughs can be made for mounting on ride on mowers, quads, rotavators, forklifts, etc

Yes, the road that feeds our houses is lower than the verge, it is also only just wide enough for two cars to pass, so we really need to blow the snow up on to the verge, out of the way, a plough would have struggled to push against the build up of snow, besides we (he) dont had anything to fit it to.

its a very good idea but if the road is public you might be entering a legal nightmare
