Came down here in Ireland Friday at about 2cm midlands and by Saturday night Sunday morning was about 5-6cm in parts.great bit of craic altogether.near gone now though

It was stuck in the middle of the road with its hazzards on, i couldnt see why though![]()
Like that round here tonight. Took the wife's fiat Ulysses out to the shops to save her venturing out tomorrow. New car so put it through its paces in the ice. Had to work hard to get it out of shape. Far more planted then the Renault scenic it replaced.well the lanes that were fine here now arnt, thought the old passat was struggling understood why as soon as i tryed to walk on it, the road is now more like a polished sheet of ice
I see that even in those days the film makers art was more important than the subject - then again it was the 60s! Too much fancy camera work and editing.
Good scene at about 2 mins in with the snowplough!
Incredible - better if there was sound though!
No good on railways but would love to see these on our roads!![]()
snowing again herelast lot of snow we had on the sunday morning i had to drive down baldwins road and up broadmeadow lane to avoid parsons hill as a long line of people had decided to stop on it and abandon their cars.Had some yesterday and more this morning, turned to rain about midday, so all gone now, but temp never got above 1°C
last lot of snow we had on the sunday morning i had to drive down baldwins road and up broadmeadow lane to avoid parsons hill as a long line of people had decided to stop on it and abandon their cars.
i was getting worried this morning might be a repeat but like you said it was gone pretty much by the afternoon.
i just hope all this wet weather doesnt now freeze
today they're on Bells Lane causing chaos
