nuts were both loose again i tightened one ok the other tightened but it feels like the thread is just about to strip, they cold be stretched also as they appear a little open at the inner washer
yes that is him mate he brought those cranked ones to get measurments from to make his own style ones with plate and tube. But I need some ASAP and those came up lucky me
so the time has come to send them back, the replacement is coming off tomorrow it was better but that front nut still worked loose after a month or so and now works loose in a few days.
Question do poly bushes behave different if fitted to these arms?
ie, does one clamp them down the same way or are they suppose to move freely on the center bar?
As already mentioned in this thread I'd be tempted to fit the arms in the loaded position and then drill and split pin the nuts and studs.
The poly bush is applying way more torque onto to the nuts as apposed to the weaker more supple standard rubber bushes.
the bar is one solid length, but it will spin freely until the nuts are tightened up. I could drill the nut and put a split pin through it that would be easier to do on the pillar drill though
