Snapon Plasma Car 30/Cebora consumable supplier

Hi could someone please give me details of a UK supplier of consumables for this machine?Looking on Ebay I found tips etc for the cut 40 and 50 but unsure if these will be ok for mine?Just bought this and worrying if maybe the parts are no longer available.Never had one before but got offered it a what I thought was a good price.Cant seem to find a manual either unless I want to pay £15!!!!

Hmm they dont list my model in their Cebora range either.I'll give them a call I think.

They also dont list my machine,
its what torch its fitted with thats more important,
have a look to see if the torch has a model no or type?

Spoke to a bloke called Thomas there and sent him a pic of my torch as it hasnt even got a tip on it at the moment.He reckons he'll be able to sort me out though.Pic of my torch.

Post a good pic of how the torch connects to the machine on here and what max amperage it runs at and hopefully somebody will recommend a more modern replacement torch.

Am assuming 15A?

I'm no electrician but i'm guessing the 15amp refers to input current reqd for 15amp output and 32amp input for what they state full output at 28amps (its probably known as a 30amp plasma)

If you've not used it yet it should cut up to around 6 or maybe 8mm plate?

Not as easy as that I'm afraid, you can't just swap torches on a plasma like you can with a mig or tig. Can you post up some better pics of the torch with the nozzle cap off and of the other side of the torch head (that's usually where Cebora imprint the torch ID number) I probably have spares for this torch I'd be happy to do you a deal as it's not a torch we get much call for spares on these days.

Thanks for that Jim I'll take more pics shortly.Plasmaparts say its a Cebora CP35 and can do extended tips and nozzles for it.May still be better getting a torch thats current though thinking of the future?

I think I have those parts, looks like it might well be a touch start machine. Memory isn't what it once was so I'll have to confirm with Wilkinsob Star on Monday.
I'm in tomorrow morning so I'll check stock and let you know.

They look very similar to my torch parts, my torch is a Trafimet cb50,

Yes youre right they do look very similar!I suppose its the dimensions that are important.Would be nice to be able to take my old bits to the place and compare them but nowhere near me.

Something that springs to mind is that when I tested it this morning the air was on all the time?Is this correct or should pressing the button open the valve?
